Outcome Based Day Opportunities

 

 

Elite are very proud to now offer an “additional service.” This new service will benefit people who are eligible for Direct Payments , through a Personal Budget who are looking for ‘Day Opportunities with a Difference’. In accordance with the Governments Valuing People ethos Elite believes that everyone should:-

¨ Are Included in all aspects of their local community

¨ Have real chances to fulfil their potential and achieve greater independence wherever possible

¨ Enjoy Mental Health, Well-being and opportunities enabling or giving  Fulfilment and Enjoyment throughout their lives

 

All of our Day Opportunities are outcome based and are  specifically tailored around our Customers needs through their Person Centred Plans. Transport can  be provided in certain circumstances—please enquire.  This new program will enable customers leaving Day Services the chance to continue and develop the important Friendships/Social skills they have formed during their time there.

 

ELITE will work closely with You, your Family and Social Worker/Community Connect Officer to ensure you achieve the best possible benefit from our services

We are able to offer a wide variety of meaningful Activities/Programs across 3 sites throughout North Staffordshire which we are hoping to increase in the very near future.

 

Some of the activities are listed below.

 

* Life skills training  (Basis Housekeeping including Cookery, Budgeting, and

Shopping.

* Travel training  (Bus and Train)

* Performing Arts  (annual performance at The Regent Theatre)

* Friendship/support clubs (Activity Central)

* Art opportunities (Painting on Canvas / Crafts)

* Sporting opportunities to maintain healthy lifestyles and improve fitness

* Workshops (Computers / Woodwork / Holistic Therapies)
